1. In order to reset the bulb, it must be on a standard on and off switch. Dimmer switches, variable power setting switches such as low, medium, high lamps and ceiling fans cannot support the smart bulbs for a reset or for standard operation. Lamps with rotating turn cranks can make it difficult to turn the bulb off and on quickly enough to ensure the reset. Please make sure that the bulb is on the best possible switch to ensure success. 2. Once the bulb is on the proper switch, power the bulb off and on a minimum of 5 times where off and on count as one. You may turn it off and on more than 5 times to ensure that you have reached the minimum number. 3. On the last time you turn the bulb on, leave it on. 4. If the bulb was properly reset, it will flash a white light 2 times. 5. Once the bulb is reset it will remain in pairing mode for 3 minutes. You may power the bulb off to stop the 3 minute timer but the bulb must be powered on in order to be discovered. Be sure to power it on before searching with your app.

In today’s episode I will review the Sengled ZigBee LED Dimmable Smart Light Bulb. I’ll show you a practical use for this ZigBee bulb which works out of the box with SmartThings and Alexa. Let’s get cracking. The Sengled line of ZigBee smart bulbs are directly compatible with the Echo 4th Gen Plus, Echo Show 10, Echo Studio, SmartThings, Wink, Hubitat or the Sengled Hub. These bulbs are not compatible with Philips Hue bridge system. Sengled smart light bulbs can be controlled by voice with Alexa Echo or Google Home Voice Assistants. 1. In order to reset the bulb, it must be on a standard on and off switch. Dimmer switches, variable power setting switches such as low, medium, high lamps and ceiling fans cannot support the smart bulbs for a reset or for standard operation. Lamps with rotating turn cranks can make it difficult to turn the bulb off and on quickly enough to ensure the reset. Please make sure that the bulb is on the best possible switch to ensure success. 2. Once the bulb is on the proper switch, power the bulb off and on a minimum of 5 times where off and on count as one. You may turn it off and on more than 5 times to ensure that you have reached the minimum number. 3. On the last time you turn the bulb on, leave it on. 4. If the bulb was properly reset, it will flash a white light 2 times. 5.Once the bulb is reset it will remain in pairing mode for 3 minutes. You may power the bulb off to stop the 3-minute timer but the bulb must be powered on in order to be discovered. Be sure to power it on before searching with your Alexa or your Sengled Bluetooth app.

1. Unplug both the power and ethernet cords from the hub. 2. Wait 10 seconds then power the hub back on. Do not attach the ethernet cord until told to do so. 3. Press and hold the reset button on the side of the hub for 8 seconds. When released, the center light should blink 8 times. 4. Wait 30 seconds for the hub to process the reset. If the hub does not have time to process, it will prevent the reset from working. 5. At the end of the 30 seconds, attach the ethernet cable to the hub. *Optional, but important: Open the Sengled Home app and make sure that the hub is not currently added to the account. If you had the hub previously added, the reset will have taken it permanently offline. Tap on the hub where it is listed and select “delete hub” from the troubleshooting options.

Sengled Smart Light Bulbs: 🤍 Favorite Smart Home Devices: 🤍 In this video we show you how to connect Sengled Smart Light Bulbs to Alexa. Once you connect your Sengled Bulbs to Alexa it will allow you to remotely control them using Alexa voice commands. With Alexa voice commands you can turn on and off your smart bulbs, change the dimming levels and even change the colors of your smart light bulbs. To Connect Alexa To Sengled Smart Bulbs: 1. You will need to have the Alexa app set up and installed on your phone along and your Alexa device connected to the app. You will also need to have your Alexa device set up and installed on the Alexa app. 2. You need to have your Sengled Smart Light Bulb set up and installed on the Sengled app and have them connected to wifi. 3. Open the Alexa app and click the "More" symbol in the lower right hand corner of the Alexa app to open the menu and then click on the "Skills and Games Tab" 4. Click on the magnifying glass and search for "Sengled" when the skill pops up select it. 5. Then click "Enable" for the Sengled Alexa skill. 6. Enter your Sengled Username and click continue. 7. Click Discover devices. It then takes 45 seconds to search for the devices. 8. Sometimes Alexa will show the devices have connected sometimes it will not show that the devices have connected even though they have it can just be a glitch in the software. The best way to test if your Sengled devices have connected to Alexa is to try and use an Alexa voice command to turn them on or off. So use the name of the Sengeld device you entered in the Sengled app and attempt to control them with and Alexa voice command by saying as an example: "Alexa, turn on living room light" 9. The Sengled Smart Hub acts as a Zigbee-to-Wi-Fi translator for your home network and lights. When you turn on a bulb using the app, the signal is sent to your router, then the Sengled Smart Hub (or compatible hub) translates that command into a Zigbee signal and sends it out to the bulb.
